Safeguarding Policy Statement
We the Sisters of the Congregation of the Holy Family of Nazareth, are committed to respecting the dignity and uniqueness of each person. We fully recognise the responsibility and duty placed upon us to have arrangements in place to safeguard & promote the welfare of all persons entrusted to our care, and all the members of the province, our associates, volunteers, employees and all staff have an active part to play in protecting these said persons from harm.
What ever you do to the least of my Brethren, that, you do unto me.
(Matt. 25:40).
The Safeguarding procedures are intended to give assistance in identifying ways in which the best interests of those in our care may be nurtured. The procedures for good practice that we follow are in conformity with the statutory policies and procedures in place in those areas where we minister. They provide a frame work for those who exercise a ministry involving children and vulnerable adults, so that they can carry out those ministries with confidence.
